What to Expect

Walking into the unknown is frightening. We want to set your mind at ease so that entering into a community is more like coming home after a long time away than entering a building for the first time.

Welcome Home

What if ‘church’ wasn’t going to a programmed service, but it was more like coming back to your long time friends and picking up where you left off? A place where there is food, community, and honest conversation. When you are welcomed into a Harbour Community gathering, no matter the expression, you will find people who are far from perfect, but striving to discover God’s will in their lives.

There is room around this table for you. A table where you can be honest about your life, your faith, your hopes, and your dreams. A place that will always be open for you, in your doubts and in your triumphs.

Here you will find good meals, good conversations, and a welcoming community. We’re not here to change you, because we are in the process of being changed ourselves.  We welcome the questions and doubts into community. We remind ourselves of the God who can renew us, and encourage one another to run to Him.

Food Brings Us Together

There is power and community is sharing a meal together. Whether it is on a backyard patio, a local coffee shop, or over a dining room table, meals offer us a chance to learn from and listen to one another. Hospitality creates bridges between people and invites a vulnerability where real growth can happen. Our gatherings always end with a shared meal around the table.

Questions Welcome

Every community looks a little different, because it is a reflection of the people that God has brought together. Some will sing, some will serve, some will play games, and so much more. Every community has a deep commitment to knowing and following God in the everyday.

You don’t need to be a seasoned student of God or the Bible to belong. Just the opposite. You will find people who are as curious as you are, asking the same questions you do, and a vulnerability where being right is not the highest ideal.

Come as you are.
